skin between your teeth

3-person exhibition

skin between your teeth was an exploration into the relationship between the body and the spaces it occupies–we break open the body and turn it inside out, spilling it onto the gallery floor. Through this obliteration and reconstruction, we embraced the way horror and queerness have been intertwined throughout history and satirize it, play with it, and exaggerate it. We recreate and reimagine the typically serene area of the home–the dining room–and reframe elements of the home through a lens of the grotesque.
